I saw in the SAHM thread that you read to LO for an hour or so every day while you have coffee.  How do you  manage to do this?  Is he in a bouncy seat or are you holding him?  I can't get LO to stay comfortable in one spot for a super long time, but I'd LOVE to read to her (and finish some of my books, ha!) for longer than the short two words per page board books.  Share your tips, please!

I don't read for the whole hour. We practice grasping toys and things too. When I do read to LO he is laying on me while I lean against a pillow and balance the picture book on my knees for him to look at. I read to him in the mornings because he has just woken up and had a bottle so is pretty mellow for a while. Some days he will cooperate and others he prefers to be more active.
