So, I'm only TTC #1 at this point, and I have thought of using Isler if the baby is a boy. It is pronounced "eye-ler". Isler is my maiden name and I really like the sound of it, plus DH really likes it too. I think it would be a great way to honor my family, but I'm wondering about pronunciation issues or it seeming made up, even though its my maiden name.
What do you think?

Re: Isler?
Try the baby name board.
FWIW-I'd mis pronounce the name but you would know best b/c it was your maiden name. Did ppl often blunder the name on 1st try?
Oops, you can tell I'm a newbie, because I thought I did post it there! But thank you for your input!
And yes most people said is-ler. But I was hoping with the name Isla becoming more popular they might start to pronounce this the right way.
