Cloth Diapering

What to do?

So I prewashed (just 1 wash) all my diaper sewing fabrics in a detergent I thought was CD safe...I then read more closely (of course afterwards) and saw it contains enzymes.

My question is should I dawn strip and rewash everything (in a truly CD safe detergent)?  Or can I get away with only stripping my insert/ inner fabrics? (but still rewash all in a diaper safe detergent?  Thoughts?

Re: What to do?

  • It's probably fine. I'd just rewash them after they become diapers in CD detergent. I think Tide has enzymes and I use that all the time for DS' CDs. Stripping seems unnecessary to me.

This would be awesome!  I was not looking forward to stripping everything.
