Well I'm thankful for the advice. Some of these 2nd, 3rd, 4th time moms don't realize there are 1st time moms on here looking for advice. After all, the reason why I joined was to get advice and encouragement.

Here is some useful advice:

1.  Flame Free Friday Confessions aren't really Flame Free.

2.  Learn to like the ladies on this board.  You'll be getting to know them really well over the next couple of years while you go through pregnancy and the first year+ of your kid's life.

3.  Snark is your friend, not your frenemy. 

4. CG has the best GIFs.

This.  I get being irritated when someone posts a how-to on parenting or the birthing process, but seriously folks.  It was just a friendly little tid bit.

Bwahaha-totally agree with this!  Or shall all of us second-time (or more) moms from 1st tri head over to 3rd tri to impart our genius to third tri?  (Hint: wanna know how childbirth feels?  WE KNOW-let us tell you!)

Thank you for sending some words our way.  I am also a FTM and appreciate you writing.  This is the funny part of online forums.  Everyone has an opinion, and voice it.  You can see from some of the posts that some of us are glad you posted.

This seems to be a really good point. I was just trying to think about when I wanted to schedule my next appointment and I was debating between Monday and Tuesdays....Tuesdsay wins! Thanks

...I'm just lurking, but I don't think I've read a more irritating response to a thread in my entire life.  I am so glad I got off "THE PREGNANCY BOAT" if this lady's on it.

Haha - WOW. This was an interesting thread to read. I'm surprised at how high and mighty some of the 2nd+ time moms are....if you don't like the info, then move on. I would venture to say that MOST of the people on these boards are first time moms (myself included) and are looking for support and advice, not matter how miniscule. It's funny how hypocritical they are, actually. They are saying we 'third trimester girls' act like you 'first trimester girls' need to bow down to us...yet their attitude suggests we 'first timers' need to bow down to them because they've had a baby before. Whatever.

I for one, have had one of my appointments on a Monday so far during this pregnancy and it is by FAR the longest I had to wait. My appt was at 4 and I didn't see the doc until 5:20. So, I completely agree with her and would offer this advice to anyone as well.

wow, just laughing at some of the responses. I can't get over how some women get their BGP in a wad just by reading someone's advice. Hey, guess what? She posted in her subject what this post was about. If hearing advice from others bothers you, be a big girl and don't read it. Move on and let her impart what knowledge she has on the FTMs who, for the most part, probably appreciate it. She's simply trying to offer advice, why is that so offensive to you? I'm pretty sure this message board was designed with that in mind...heaven forbid it actually be used for it's original purpose.
