I know for sure I'm not having time-able contractions, and it's nothing to call the doctor about yet. I am, however, having some serious "gassiness" coming in big and small waves. It's different than I've felt before, and pretty painful.
Did anyone else feel like this, either as "pre-labor" or maybe just in general, having nothing to do with labor?
Re: What did your "pre-active labor" feel like?
I currently have an inside baby still, my first.
I get really bad cramps and I am like, "Oh man! This is it!" and then just pass gas...
Its been happening for about three weeks, so I am assuming it is something I have been eating.
Lol that's what I've been telling myself all day! I haven't really passed much gas, so either it's just not "passing", or it's something else. It's so hard to tell right now! And of course my mom was no help when I asked her.
This is what I'm feeling now, have been for a few hours. It's stronger than normal constipation, and it's not regular, just comes and goes. I told my mom it could last for days...not fun!
I still have an inside baby, but I have been having very intense period-like cramps low in my abdomen that come in waves (intensity builds and then declines). I have the poop-like sensation too, and also gassiness with it. I think it's all the uterus contracting...but yeah, I saw my OB today and she confirmed that it doesn't mean anything is going to happen anytime very soon, and it's all very normal.
My doula did just say that what I described as my night last night is what her latest FTM described happening the day before her labor began, fwiw
