PP AF and supply issues

If you noticed a significant supply decrease with the return of AF, when and how did you bump it back up.  I'm on day 6 of my first PP AF, and my supply is pathetic, maybe 8oz in 8 hours (4 sessions) compared to 14oz before.  At least this explains the supply issues I was having 10 days ago as I"m sure AF was getting ready to show, but I'm hoping I can get back to where I was because at this rate I"m never going to keep up with DD!

 Do I just keep pumping through it even though I'm only getting 1.5-2oz a session?  Is there anything else I can do to get it to rebound?

I tried Mother's Milk tea and tablets.  that helped a bit.  I ate lots of oatmeal.  But, for me, DD was already 9 mos old, so I gave her more table foods (she was starting to eat really well at that time) and started giving her a bottle of formula.  my supply never really came back up to where it was after AF was done.  After a couple cycles, it didn't affect my supply as much, though.

I haven't gone through it yet, but have you tried fenugreek and blessed thistle to bring your supply up? ?You can get them both at GNC or from your LC, but you have to take a lot more than the dosage on the bottle says. ?I forget the exact amounts, but I'm sure either your LC can tell you or you can find the info on the internet. ?Other than that, frequent feeding/pumping is all I can think of. ?Good luck!

I'm still waiting on mine but I remember with DD#1 I used Feungreek & Blessed Thistle and they did help keep my supply up.  Also, if I remember correctly once AF was over everything went back to normal b/c I know I didn't have to take the supplements for very long.  Good luck!

My supply always dropped when AF showed up. ?I don't know numbers/ounces because I never pumped well. DS just nursed more frequently for a few days and then my supply picked back up when AF was gone. ?

Have you checked kelleymom? ?They always have good information. ?
