Nap time..

Ok, about how long should a baby nap for? I know every baby is different, & every nap time varies. I can rock my LO to sleep and let him lay on me for about 45 min till he is in a deep sleep, I lay him down and about 10 min later he is awake...is that what a nap should be like?
