Do you add sugar when freezing peaches?

Ive never frozen any peaches.  My mom & gma usually do plenty so that if I want some I can just take some from their freezer.  

My gma however is having a knee replacement surgery on Monday & hasnt been able to do any.  

I bought a basket at a fruit stand and want to cut them up today.  I did a google search and a lot of them say to add sugar.  

My gma always used fruit fresh & water.  I will use them for a pie/cobbler if it makes a difference.  

How do you do yours?

I don't add anything.  I always just flash freeze them and then throw them in a food saver bag, as is.  My step mom always cans peaches, and uses fruit fresh and water, but I never use those for pies and stuff, just to eat like you would canned peaches.

I used unsweetened apple juice.  My mother makes simple syrup, and most places will tell you to use that, or some type of juice.

I am currently canning half a bushel of peaches in an extra light vanilla syrup.

I don't add sugar to frozen peaches. I slice them into a bowl of water with fruit fresh.

I just looked at your FB page!  Great job!    

Im also doing the fruit fresh.  

How do you peel yours?  I boiled mine and have found it very aggravating/slimy. I will just use my veggie/fruit peeler next time.
