Made the call to my RE

So yesterday, I finally broke down and called my RE's office to tell them about our loss since I figured they needed to track that information.  When she called back about 4pm, I talked to my RE's nurse who expressed her sympathy.  She said the dr was gone for the day, but that he'd call personally as well.  I assumed he would call the next day.  Imagine my surprise when I'm sitting at the Indy Indians (minor league) baseball game when an unknown number shows up on my cell at 8pm.  I decided to answer and it was my RE.  He said he was so sorry to hear about our loss and to let him know if he could do anything.  He said the entire office was saddened by the news.  He confirmed what my OB said about waiting 2-3 months before trying again.  I told him we may try on our own for a bit before jumping back into fertility treatments, but we'd let him know.

I seriously can't believe he called me at night.

I love that man. I know he called me a few times after my D&C to check on me. He really cares.

How nice that your RE called back so soon. IMHO, that should be the norm and not something unusual.  Again, big hugs to you.

I am so glad that he called you back - that shows that he does care; but like said above, I do hate there was a need for him to call...
