Remember yesterday how my DH called and wanted to know when I'd be home from work?
So DH says "Don't you get tired? Being home all day with them? I'm exhausted".
I say "Sure I do especially on non nap days, but I have no choice. I can't just sit and relax" My kids don't care that I didn't sleep well the night before or that I'd just like to sit in front of the TV and veg. I have to suck it up and hope that they'll go to bed without a peep so I can collapse on the couch around 9pm.

Because we're fancy like that.
Sounds like he 'gets' it, hooray!
My DH says the same thing. I also hear, 'I understand why you don't get any cleaning/organizing done all day.'
It's nice to be appreciated.
Is it awful that after SAIFsexfest 2011 I was NOT expecting this to be a regular old clean post?
hee hee
I think it's AWESOME that he said that.
Nothing gives them a more healthy respect for what you do than having to do it themselves for a day.
I think every woman should leave her kids alone with her DH for a full day. It's educational for them in a big way!
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Ditto the first part!!! Well, ditto both parts, actually.
I look forward to the day that I can do that...but I don't see it happening any time soon.
