When does PPD start?

Sorry if this is overasked but when does PPD depression usually start. I am 6 wks pp and was told it might be too early to be PPD just wondering.

     As for as when it 'usually' starts - there is no good answer on that one.

     I would not say 6 weeks is to early.  I know I scheduled an appoitnment with my OB at 7 weeks, so I was feeling PPD before then.  Don't feel you have to wait before you seek help! ~hugs~
