I am the same program!!! How random. I am just finishing my 3rd quarter right now. How did you like the program? Any advice? What do you do now/do you like it?

I also think I thought you meant you were finishing this December instead of next? Is that right? I'm confused now.
Anyway... I really liked the program but my friend that is going through is now has been telling me about some of the changes, adding classes etc, I think the changes are for the worse (or at least not helpful) but I guess if I hadn't already been through the program I wouldn't know any different.
I work in an OB/GYN office now and love it, would prefer a little more low risk OB but I still like it. It's nice to be able to work there and be a patient, but some people think that is weird.
My beef with the program (and I believe I was in the first few classes that finished) was it seemed unorganized and I also didn't think they were helpful enough on assisting with national and state license. Of all the stupid classes and papers that they have I didn't think they taught you enough of things that would be helpful in practice. I also thought the lack of education on coding is a disservice, during clinicals your preceptor doesn't have time to teach you stuff like that, I'm still learning things about coding I feel I should have known from the beginning.
This is definitely the best job I've ever had and even though I feel more responsibility now it's less stressful than being in the hospital. I work 4 days a week (32 hrs total) and aside from regular ob/gyn office visits I assist in surgery.
