LO will not eat solids

So frustrating. DS will not consistently eat solids. He hardly ever eats them! He won't eat any fruit at all. What the heck? Ugh. He has been fighting a double ear infection for awhile (second rounds of meds now) so hopefully that's why, but I'm worried that he's not getting everything he needs. Poor kid is always hungry, and STILL up ever 3 hours to eat in the night. I am one tired mama. Anyone else have solid issues?

Lucas isn't a huge fan of solids. He loves peas, but will barely eat anything else. He's getting everything he needs from formula/milk. The solids are just for practicing.

I would say don't try to force it.  Try maybe once or twice a week, and eventually he'll be interested in it on his own.  But if you try to force the issue, he'll make a habit of resisting.
