The book says it can take 7 nights but takes 3 - 4 for most people. So I'm worrying that this might not work. DS does fall asleep usually within the first 10-20 minutes & that's it. But is he going to cry every nite we put him to bed?? Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks so much.

10-15 minutes of crying is considered "success" with sleep training. Some babies will not stop crying before falling asleep until they are older.
