Not the week I was hoping for...

As I posted Friday my Gran was in ICU and I appreciate the T&Ps. She's been trasnferred to hospice and now we're just waiting. I did get to see her and talk to her before she became unresponsive yesterday which I feel good about. Right now she's just asleep and isn't aware of anything going on.

DH had to go to work since we don't know how long it will be but DD and I stayed since I'm the only one available to help my Mom right now during the day (my sibs all work). So I'm missing him and juggling DD while helping Mom.

DH is going to miss DD's 1st bday unless something changes between now and tomorrow. He's bummed, I'm bummed and DD keeps signing asking for Daddy.

On top of this DD's party is/was suppossed to be Saturday and I don't know what to do about it. Everything is ordered/prepped and ready to go but we may or may not be able to have it. I don't know if we should just go ahead and cancel it or not.

As icing to the crappy week today is my 30th Bday and I'm heartbroken about my gran, missing my husband, nd generall just really sad.

Oh hon...not a good week at all! That is a lot going on, all packed with hefty emotions. Hoping you can find some birthday joy somewhere, somehow tonight for yourself, and that DD's birthday can be a source of happiness in the midst of all of this. (((hugs)))
