LOL- just got the "When are you going to be home?" call from DH

LOL LOL.  I am at work and he calls and says "Um when are you going to be home?"   I say not til 5:30 (it's 4:00 here).  

He tells me A has been crying on and off and she won't let him put her down. Which means DH can't "study" for his Football draft that's tonight (cue the violins). 

He says "Are you going to the gym? (I go after work and then get home for dinner)" which was code for: "Please don't go, I need to concentrate on my draft". 

I say "No I know you have your draft (insert eyeroll) so I'll be home right after work".

Hmmmm maybe I'll take the long way home later.

HAHA this just made me laugh out loud..cause I make that SAME phon call to DH usually right about now (430pm) when he is going to be home at his "normal" time.

I don't get that luxury today cause he as a baseball series starting tonight..I just love for you that rolls are reversed!

I also laughted cause you DH needs to study for the football draft! DH once did his draft from the bathroom(he was doing the prep for a endoscopy) and it makes you go #2 a lot..I couldn't believe he still did it. Thing they do for sports and bragging rights..

LOL. I hate fantasy sports! I get that they are fun, and make it more interesting to watch games but DH takes it so seriously. It takes up so much time too!

Oh, and DH has his draft this Saturday night, which is the day before DD's 2nd birthday party. I know I'm going to have a million last minute things to do and he won't be around to help out or just watch the kids. Grrrr.

LOL, My dh was on baby dutie while I worked today and he texted me and said "I need you to get home NOW".  You'd think my baby had a 104 fever. Nope, just a little fussiness. Pssshhh.

This made me laugh because I get the same phone calls. My DH stays at home on Fridays with Robbie and I can always count on a call at about 4pm asking my status.
