So someone got me this DVD which is a cool video about what your baby looks like as it grows inside you and all the cool things it can do.  It was fun to watch right before my ultrasound appointment yesterday (BTW- it's a boy!  yay!)  but the end of the video has, of course, video of the live birth.  As the baby's head started to come out I got so grossed out that I turned away from the TV and could not look until it was all over.  Honestly, what is wrong with me?  I felt so immature considering I'll have to do this in a few months!

I don't like watching babies come out in videos like that either. My midwife offered me a mirror when DD was crowning. I told her if God had intended me to see that, I wouldn't need a mirror to do so.

We had to watch a birth video in my high school health class and I had to turn away then....then I tried watching another one not long after I got pregnant and I still had to turn away. Its bizarre, slimy, painful, and someone else's vagina. I can't handle it.

LOL I've been semi-addicted to watching baby shows, minus that part, and they usually make me feel sick . In the Womb was sooooo good though wasn't it!
