So DD has finally learned the word (if you can call it that) "num num" means food. She also just learned the word "pwease". Now I'm trying to teach her what these mean, so when she says them (together) I give her some food.
Problem is, now she says it all the time (well, seems like it). I gave her a huge breakfast, and not even 30 mins later was asking for "num num pwease".WWYD, would you feed her and let her graze, or say no and her get upset? She just seems to be at a weird age where I can't reason with her so she just gets ticked off.
Sigh. I'm at a loss.
Re: WWYD...re: "num num"?
That's what I thought, but I didn't know if I was starting a bad habit by her grazing all the time...
I would give her something. DS does this too. He goes to the cabinet, points up and says chips. We give him a pretzel (he calls most snacks chips). Sometimes he will ask for a cook (which is cookie) and we will give him 1 or 2 teddy grahams.
I want to encourage him to continue to use words instead of just general whining. If I say no, forget it, huge tanturm, must be the age
