So I just got my first wool longies from EM Wade (shout out to her, they're supersoft and thick!) and I'm not sure how to stuff a fitted for my VERY heavy wetter. I have one SBish snapless with the two inserts but there's no way that's going to be enough to absorb DD's nighttime pee. I also have some WAHM fitteds that are pretty standard velour lined can stand up to 3 hours during the day without extra stuffing.
I bought a couple hemp inserts and a couple cotton/hemp blend inserts and I have a couple extras that were spares from the WAHM fitteds too.
What goes where? What do you recommend? How many inserts? In what order? Does it matter if the insert sticks out a little (some are pretty big and the crotch of my fitteds is pretty narrow)?
I'm a little intimidated and don't want to mess up because DD's sleep habits have been HORRIBLE! I'd hate for my goof to have her waking up all night!
TIA!!!
Re: how to stuff a fitted for nighttime?
So, even if it's only good for 3ish hours during the day, adding an extra insert (which could buy me another 2 hours of absorbancy) and the breathability of wool (which will let the moisture evaporate???), I should be good?
I have no idea. It may be a matter of trial and error. Or you could invest in a nighttime fitted.
Any rec's??
