PSA: Do NOT eat beets when pregnant

So I had roasted some beets for dinner 2 nights ago, and then had leftovers the next day for lunch.

A few hours later, went to the bathroom, wiped and saw pink.  I looked in the toilet and the water was pink stained.  I instantly freaked...  wiped again, and there was nothign there...  going #2 after eating beets is even worse!

(insert light bulb moment on the toilet)... DUH!!!  THE BEETS!

    Beets turn your pee pink?? Or are we just talking about poop?

    It slightly changed my pee into a "peachy pink" color...  and my poo was much more "red"

    OMG, that is too funny.  I'm glad you warned us because I LOVE my beets and probably would've had the same reaction.

    Oh my goodness! lol. I would freak out... My husband and I went on a beet eating kick a couple of months ago and yes.. everyhting was purple/pink and stinky.. lol
