I don't know if you already own a VW, but when we bought ours we were told that you should never buy a VW the first year that a new model comes out. Apparently they are known for having lots of bugs the first year that they fix in the next model year.
I dont have one but my dh and I drove an hour to go look at one. I was not impressed. It is a nice van and has a lot of good things but its just not roomy enough for me. (I have 3 in carseats and need room to get into the 3rd row) I didnt really look at much other than the room factor because that is the main reason for getting a new van.
I have thought about going to look at one again and taking the carseats and sitting them in to see the actual room I would have. I really wanted to like that van. I always wanted a VW and wished they would make a new van. Now they do but Im not sure its big enough.
Im leaning more towards the Quest, Odyssey, and Town N Country. I wish I could combined those 3 into one van. Each have things I like and dislike about them.
Thanks. I haven't gone to look yet, but that's a good point about a first-year model. We currently have a Mazda Tribute (small SUV), and there's just not enough room. I don't know if we should get a wagon, a bigger SUV, or a van. I guess I'll drive them to see what I think.

Have you looked at any of them yet?
