DS 19th Birthday

My DS turned 19 Sunday in the ER. DS was in car with a friend and they wrecked early Sunday morning. DS's friend fell asleep so after celebrating ealier Saturday with him and taking a family picture for DD2's class at school they were invloved in a wreck . I am so thankful that they are both OK even though DS has most of the injuries. DS has staples and stiches in his back and around his head. It is so crazy how in a instant things change. They should have both been killed or at least still in the hospital. We are thankful that they have no broken bones will only have scars. 

DD2 is scared of him and does not know what to think. The funny thing is that right when we walked in the door bringing him home from the hospital 2 hours away DD2's birth family called. They had no idea what had happened to my DS and said they felt the need to call.

GLynn - How scary!  I'm so sorry they were in an accident.  I'm glad that your son is okay - that's amazing that he didn't break any bones. 

Funny how you daughter's birth family called, too -- I'm sure they were happy to hear that your son is home.

Oh My! That's terrible!   I'm glad he only has some stiches, sounds like it could have been much worse.

Thank God everyone is okay!!  That is so scary.

He is back to himself today so he will heal OK. DD2 is so protective of him last night.
