Day About Baby at Evergreen review

Just wanted to let any ladies know who are thinking about going that it's pretty worthwhile. Maybe not for BTDT moms and dads, but for FTM&Ds, it's great! DH got a lot of information, too, and I think it helped him a lot. We learned about immediately postpartum what babies look like (not the Gerber baby! LOL), some general information about breastfeeding, baby care (bathing, diapering), and how to calm baby down (think Happiest Baby on the Block stuff). We got to try on and test out baby carriers (just with dolls), which was so nice, because I was torn between the Moby and the K'Tan, and now I know I'll be using the Moby. Also, they had lots of good info about carseats (dos and don'ts, etc). The teachers were fun and knew what they were talking about.

All in all, I don't feel like I wasted my Saturday - and I'd do it again.

ETA: Yes, I meant BTDT, not the other way around. Sorry, pregnancy brain! LOL

I think she meant BTDT - been there done that.

I took that class too as a FTM and I also felt it was worthwhile.
