That is so funny that your friend wrote A Discovery of Witches! I am totally sucked in now and just want to hide in my pumping room and finish.
I had to scale down my goal to read this year from 100 books to 75. I would be higher if you count my compulsive re-reading, but I thought that would be cheating. I'm at 43 according to goodreads so that's not too bad.
S popped a top tooth Friday night-I hate teething and what it does to my sleep.
Re: ~~Sonadora~~
Ha, I'm glad it's that good! I should have accepted the copy for review they were offering me earlier this year when it was released, but I just didn't have the time to read anything at that point.
I compulsively re-read as well. I re-read the entire Harry Potter series before the movie, so that's 7 more there, and I re-read Summer Sisters every couple of weeks, a few pages a night before I go to sleep.
I'm up to 52 books finished and on my way through number 53. Once Congress is back in session I'll have more time to read again since I'll be taking the Metro home, so maybe there's a chance I can read 47 more in 4 months...

Harry Potter re-read is a total must.
My H has been taking me to work, which I love, but its totally killing my el reading time.
