Apple Picking - Where, When?

Where and when can I pick apples around here?  A friend and I want to go to an orchard and then create apple everything delicious from the literal fruits of our labor .

not sure but I can't wait to go apple picking... Im ashamed to say Ive NEVER done it before We've picked strawberries and pumpkins but never apples. I'm jumping all over it this year.

We love Iron's Fruit Farm in Lebanon!  We go pumpkin picking there every year and love their corn maze.  We've never picked apples there, but I know that they have apple picking through Sept and Oct.  I intended to go last year, but we never made it out there til pumpkin season.  I'd definitely check it out, even if it just for their baked goods.  Their apple fritters are to die for!

I haven't gone apple picking but I would also recommend checking into Irons Fruit Farm (our fave place for pumpkins) or Rousters Apple Orchard in Milford.

I was going to suggest Rousters in Milford.  Their apples are delicious.

We picked at Iron's in Lebanon last year. Definitely get an apple slushie while you are there! YUM!

Just an FYI Rousters closed at the end of August. They decided to retire.
