Anyone w/ 2 sets of twins?

I'm giving away all of my baby gear to other moms lately, and find myself saying "don't give it away when you're done....... i might need it again......"  I can't believe after this year I'm actually considering more!  I'm afraid of having twins again, are the odds even something to think about?

We have spontaneous ID twins and our Dr told us that the likelihood if having another set would be like winning the lottery twice.  I don't know the #'s but with spontaneous fraternal I know it's much more likely.

I read on a website that your odds of having twins again increases if you have fraternals. Your odds are increased to 1 in 12 to have twins again. There are lots of twins in my family, my G-Gma had 3 sets alone and 4 of my cousins have twins, but mine are identical so it makes me wonder if identicals aren't somehow genetic also.

I heard this statistic as well, and it only applies to spontaneous fraternal twins, of course. 

I don't think my body could handle another twin pregnancy, so we are probably done!

I heard this as well. Those odds are a little too high for me, so we are hesitant to try again!

I'm not selling any of my clothes or anything we have double off until we consider our family complete, just in the small case that we do have sponteneous twins again...it's rare, but does happen.

My son's best friend has twin older brothers and twin younger brothers. His mother ovulates 2 eggs every cycle.  If you have a set of spontaneous fraternal twins then it might be worth checking out and seeing if you have something similar.  My twins are a result of clomid so I have no worries, especially since this will be the end of my child bearing no matter what my husband has to say!

I have two sets of identical twins (all girls).  My doctor says it's rare but i don't know how rare it is.  I was 17 when I got pregnant with my first set, and 19 when I was pregnant with my second set.  I am 27 now and pregnant with hopefully #5 (praying only one this time).  My doctor is reassuring me that my chances of having another set of identicals is extremely rare and my chances are no greater than anyone else.  Don't know how or why, but I guess it does happen.....now if only I could win the lottery now......

I don't have my first ultrasound scheduled yet (I"m only 8 weeks), and we are very nervous this time!
