I thought we had a boy and girl name picked out once we knew we were pg.. now the names aren't doing it for me.  Hormones? lol 

I know I have plenty of time to debate names with DH, but it's tiring because we hardly agree on any names.  

Anyone set on the names?  Love to hear what you have

We had names picked out by month 2 our first time...and then they had all changed by month 5.  We didn't even narrow our boy name down until month 8, and went into labor still unsure between 2 boy names.  (we were team green) You'll probably change your mind a bunch!

Joanna for a girl. We probably won't pick a boy's name unless we have to. It's been a point of contention whenever we've discussed it. lol

Annabell Lee for a girl, and Tyler (something) for a boy. Those names have been picked out for years. A boy's middle name is the only thing still being discussed between us. I'm sure you will figure out a names soon!

We had picked out 4 names before we even tried to get pregnant.  But we have narrowed it down to 2, we compromised I said no to one of his and he said no to one of mine.  the ones we have

Boy: Revan or Quinnlan

Girl: Aayla or Ocean, 

So far aayla and revan won, however if the baby is born and we just don't think they look like that we will fall back on the other one, but we are pretty set

DH and I had names picked out the day we found out we were pregnant. Only because he happened to love the names I'd had in mind for years before I even seriously considered having a baby! I had the same indecisiveness you're describing and went out and bought a baby name book. When looking through it I always ended up liking my original choices more than any other name I came across. Just kind of skim through some names online, make a list of ones you would consider and look over it a week later. Sometimes names sound good in the moment, but when you go back and look, you wonder what the heck you were thinking! Hope this advice helps a little! Good luck!

Right now we're Owen George for a boy and Sophie Rose for a girl.  The girl we're pretty set on. The boy could change.  8 months is a long time to commit to not changing your mind. I've also heard of people having names picked out, seeing their baby and saying it doesn't fit! In fact, my cousin's baby spent her first 48 hours nameless. The ended up with Ella - cute. Good luck!

Though it will likely change (as you said haha), we're thinking Tenley Jane for a girl and Cayden Thomas for a boy.

We're basically set with first names.  We plan to give 2 middle names.

We'll name a daughter Lois.  With some combination of Marie, Margaret, Marianne, Harriet or Beatrix for middle names.

If we have another son, his first name will be Theodore.  With William, Oscar, Sylvester, Lawrence or Reuben for middle names.

 

Edit:  Yes, it's all old school.  We like to curse our children with archaic family names.  If we're feeling particularly mean, we'll dig in the family tree for some Puritan names....  Prudence, Patience, Mercy, Fortitude......

We've had our girl name forever. Addison Rene or Addision Irene. Our name for a boy is still up in the air but it's between Tyler Clifford or Jackson Clifford. I told DH he could pick the name (but I get final say of course!). I'm pretty happy with his two picks at the moment.

I'm sure it's 100% natural to change your mind about their name a million times. I would assume if you're finding out the gender and as your pregnancy progresses you'll grow more attached to a name over the others. Good luck!

For a girl, hmm dunno. Maybe Isobel.

We aren't really into "weird" names so they will be just normal names.

We have had a boy and girl name picked out for years, and now suddenly, I'm not sure if I'm liking either...but, if we stick with the original plan it will be:

 

boy- Dax Wyatt

girl- Zaylin Makenna

Hubby and I both really like Lance and Liam as well for boys, but there are no other girl names we can agree on.

We are naming a boy Kai Michael and a girl will be Brynn _____. Not sure on the middle name yet. The boy probably won't change, Kai is one of the only name we could agree on and Michael is after my dad. While we love the name Brynn now, it's not a name that we're so attached to that it's non-negotiable, so we shall see.

Annabel Lee is our girl name too!  After Poe, obviously!

We have Alexandria Gail (family name) for a girl and Christopher ___ for a boy.  I'm sure the Alexandria might change but that's all that's been decided so far besides the family names.

For baby number one we had picked out Leah Hazel or Ian Christopher and stuck with it. My cousin just had a little boy and named him Ian so that is out for us now. If baby two is a girl her name will be Aubrey Allison and my husband is picking the boys name and surprising me with it when he is born. Should be a fun ride!!

No boy name picked yet because my husband steadily turns down every name I suggest so...we're just gonna wait to find out what it is before we drive ourselves crazy!
