Grady William?

The MN is already set (family significance), but DH came up with Grady today and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I kind of like it, but it's not a name I've ever really known anyone to have IRL. Thoughts?

I've known one person named Grady and he's a pretty cool kid, so I have a good association with the name and I personally like it.

I've only heard it as a last name, so that puts me off of it. I prefer Brady which is also derived from an Irish surname.

I strongly dislike Grady.  It makes me think grody, and it just doesn't seem very masculine to me.

I agree, it is hard and feels a bit overwhelming! I really like the nn Gray... and I kind of like Grayson. Grayden isn't too bad. They both remind me of variations of Brady/Brayden, which are both too popular for my liking. We will probably keep Grady on our list just because it's the first name DH has really gotten excited about, but I'm not sure if we'll use it or not.

I don't like Grady. It sounds like a dog's name. 

That being said I do know an adult Grady.  He's a total drunk and party-er at age 30....not a good association.

I personally am not really fond of boys names ending in "y" sound..  Riley, Grady, Casey, Brody etc..

Like PP suggestion of Gray though.. just sounds a lot stonger to me

I disagree with the majority, I am a fan of Grady. I'm surprised so many people dislike it.

I do not like Grady. It sounds made up. Grey or Greyson or Brady. 

Greyson William sounds nice.
