I'm kind of surprised this went down on a weekend.  Are the may mommies who judged the mud in on it too? I'm confused.  I think I saw some of the planning on the facebook group, but skipped over it. Glad I did.  I make cookies when I'm bored.

I don't see the humor in trying to rile people up over that particular issue.  There are tons of other things to post about.

I personally know of someone who this happened to.  A woman at my  mom's office.  I have no idea how one forgets to drop her kid off at daycare and then forgets that the baby is in the car...but apparently the baby was asleep when she got to work.  She accidentally left the baby in her car, walked to her office, remembered the baby and went back to the car.  The baby was dead.  It was a horrible situation.

You wouldn't have wanted someone to joke about miscarriages or preemie babies (especially when K was having seizures and such) would you?  I have no idea how you think it would be funny to joke about this type of misfortune.

No,I saw it and  it makes you look stupid. IUGR very rarley has anything to do with nutrition(unless of course you are talking about eating disorders). And 1500 calories is far from an eating disorder!!

Honestly, I also think you're pedi is a bit behind on current recommendations. Some moms would think about that and consider more than one source... but I guess you're clearly not some moms.
