1. What week are you in? 27 Any new aches or pains? Nope - same ole aches and pains.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? The week being over. Ugh. Time with my honey - I love him...he's such a gem. Hearing back from my OB that the 1 Hr Glucose was negative.
3. When is your next appointment? November 7ish? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Nope.
4. How early did your baby drop? Hasn't happened yet.
5. What questions do you think are absolutely necessarily to ask a pediatrician when you are interviewing him/her? Philosophy on vaccinations and breast feeding. Do they have kids of their own? What is their on call situation? Are they open to parenting questions? Are they more of a CIO advocate or Attachement parenting advocate?
6. Are you planning to use a bumper on the crib or not due to the risk of SIDS? Yup, I'm taking the risk.
7. Anyone else have Rh negative blood like me? Nope.

Preggers 1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 31, lots of contractions (just B&H I think) a little concerned it's the return of the UTI...but could very well just be STRESS.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? My baby shower!
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Next appt. is next Wednesday I think. Nothing too exciting going on at them....it's just the usual checks and questions etc.

5. What questions do you think are absolutely necessarily to ask a pediatrician when you are interviewing him/her? Right, wrong or indifferent I go more with the vibe I get off a doc. I have never interviewed before kiddos were born though. When I am looking for a new doc I am interested in whether they can have an adult conversation with me and still speak to my kids at their level. I can't stand docs that either a) ignore that the child is a person in the appt. and don't address what they are going through to them or b) talk to me like I am a child.
6. Are you planning to use a bumper on the crib or not due to the risk of SIDS? I have the bumper on, but baby probably won't be in the crib much initially.

My appt got changed to next Monday morning. Maybe it was the weather yesterday? Poo! I got a great review, but who knows where or what that will get me since I found out that part of my division is merging with another. Ugh. Thanks for asking though IG.

Thanks for asking IG - the tour went well and we ran into a lady that was registered in our class who had a premie at 30 weeks. We didn't get to see much of the facility as they only allowed us to see one of the regular rooms after l&d. I've seen them before since my friends had their babies' there in the past.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I'm sitting at week 27 now. No new aches or pains this week.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? I'm going to take my glucose test today so hopefully that will turn out negative. Doctor just gave me the bottle to drink with instructions and will have to stop by the lab to get my blood drawin in two hours.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? October 31... other than finding out the test results I don't think there's anything special that will go on.

5. What questions do you think are absolutely necessarily to ask a pediatrician when you are interviewing him/her? This was my questions. DH and I have a scheduled pediatrician interview in early November.
6. Are you planning to use a bumper on the crib or not due to the risk of SIDS? I think I will initially until she starts to learn how to flip. Can't imagine she'd know how to move around that much as a small infant.

I used to think that way in the very beginning when I was taking extra iron supplements and was making me even more constipated. Dr told me to stop taking them and it has been a lot better. Now I eat a ton of fruit and rarely have the problem anymore.

2. What are you looking forward to this next week? One thing I hope to look forward to this week is getting the caulking done at my house this weekend and getting the door frame moulding painted. Then we can finally move onto the next step of getting our carpets installed.
3. What are your feelings about DH eating or drinking things that you can't eat or drink when you get PG? Sometimes I'm envious that he can eat sashimi but I can't. It's ok, it's only temporary. He doesn't really drink anything that I would want to drink.

We didn't tell anybody outside of the nest because of the initial conversation of if we're pregnant yet and etc. It would've been very hard since we endured 10 months of trying and people would probably start to think if something was wrong with us.
5. What?s your favorite Old Wives Tale about conception? That propping your hips or wailing your legs in the air for 15 minutes after sex will actually get you pregnant.

Weekly appts are going well but dr is probably going to discuss early induction due to the large size of our baby. ?On our last ultrasound a few weeks ago she was already between 7-8 pounds and in the 98th percentile. whoa!?

17th week---none yet, although my neck has been bothering me lately. I think my pillow is too soft, and always sleeping on my side is making it worse.

We have our 2nd "centering" class next week. I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again, and am excited to learn something new about pregnancy, labor, parenting.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? See above, instead of the traditional one-on-one appointments w/the midwife we are in a monthly/weekly "centering" class at the Ballard Swedish Birthing Center.

Now everyone is wondering what is wrong with us. It sucks having to explain that it hasn't happened yet, especially to those friends that started trying AFTER us and are already pregnant. Hi Ladies, it's been awhile since I've posted and realized that it wasn't updated yet that I'm having TWIN BOYS!!!

I'm carrying these two high and low at the same time, not sure whats going on in there!
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 22 weeks, I've been having terrible heartburn and my body is telling me to slow down - lots of contractions, pressure in my lower abdomen. Hopefully no bed rest.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? finishing up the nursery chair rail and paint.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Today at noon, I go in for a cervical length check - nothing too exciting. I was supposed to do it yesterday but the other nurse never told me! errg...

3. What are your feelings about DH eating or drinking things that you can't eat or drink when you get PG? I followed the drink till you see pink rule, until I started invitro then I stopped drinking only.
4. How many people outside of the Nest know you?re trying to have a baby? My parents knew and a few close friends. Then I started a blog and didn't care who knew. TTC can be very difficult and you need a lot of support.

2. Today I have a group appointment/class at the birthing center affiliated with my midwife's office.
3. After today I have a 12-week u/s and pap on 11/3. After that I will spread the news. I can't wait.
