Another spanking story

Lane's sitter told me (as she was cracking up) that Lane walked up to her and asked why another little boy was crying (the one he bit last week).  She told him that he was mad.  Lane's reply (said in the most matter of fact sense)?  "Spank his butt."

WTH?  He's never heard MH or I say that (we don't spank at all).  She tried to figure out where he heard that by asking him "Do mommy and daddy spank your butt?" or "Do mommy and daddy have to spank Zeke's butt when he's bad?" but Lane just kept repeating her.

Char knows "spank" because I give her love spanks all the time.  And now she's started yelling, "Don't spank my BUTT!" and covering her butt with her hands.  Which is so going to get me in trouble with people who know we don't spank lol.

(Sadly, she has given up "Obama" for "butt".  I do not like 2 year olds saying that word.  Bleh.  Should have been specific to the nanny.)

This reminds me of friends of ours. The mom took her son to see a movie (he was 7 or 8 at the time) and he started crying during the movie for something sad. His mom looked over at him and the started screaming "stop hitting me in the face! Mom, stop hitting me in the face!". She was mortified.
