Where do you store your BM?

I've been storing mine in my regular freezer and I read yesterday that the milk will only last 2 weeks... I thought I had 3-4 months... Were are you storing your milk stash?

No no, you can store it in a regular freezer up to 4 months, in a deep freezer up to 6.

Yes, as long as you're not storing it in the door you will have about 4 months in a fridge top freezer. I put my bags in my fridge top to freeze them (because my fridge is in the main part of the house) then whenever I go downstairs I take whatever I have ready and put it in the deep freeze where it will last even longer.

The 2 week rule is for the little freezer inside of a mini fridge...normal freezer is 3-6 months. Like pp I follow the storage guide on kellymom.com

Anyone want to recommend their deep freezer? I need one for my milk and some meat/ice cream overflow from our regular freezer...

We just got a 7 cu ft one from Home Depot. They have a 5 cu ft one too. Free delivery as well.

MIL got us one from Sears. It's great, we would have had to get one ourselves if she hadn't gotten us one. We have tons of meat out there, extra coffee creamer and now BM. I freeze it inside in the fridge freezer and then move it out to the deep freeze when I have a gift bag full.
