My son is also obsessed with Thomas. We went the Thomas Day out (see Thomas and friends website), and he had a ball. If you can do it next year, when it comes to your area, I highly recommend it.

I just saw something on PBS the other day about it, but it's 2 hours away and I'm not sure you can go unless you donate to PBS (argh)
We did go to a nice park up in Denver that has a little train that the whole family can ride on.. it's super cute. Goes about 1 1/2 miles thru the park, thru a tunnel, steam whistle and everything for $1.50!!!
C didn't really get that he was RIDING on the train. But he loved watching it. The old man who runs it says most kids have the same reaction.. they don't understand that what their sitting in IS the train! We'll probably be there every freakin' weekend next summer!
