Do I have to wait for my ultrasound?

I figured out my due date at ivf.ca with the FET due date calculator. (April 28 for a singleton. April 6th for twins by average gestation)

But if I go to create a ticker it tells me I am 3w6d. Is that accurate? Or is it all different with IVF and FET?

 

Sorry for the newbie question. I think we have all felt this but I know everything about getting pregnant. But very little about what happens after.  LOL

I did my estimated due date by the IVF calculator too.  i personally didn't do a ticker till I had my ultrasound, but to each his own.  Congratulations!!!

Congrats on your BFP!  I just used what was supposed to be the first day of my period to make my ticker. It worked out right for my due date.

no matter how many babies you are having (singleton, twins, etc) your due date is 40 weeks from the first day of your last period....unless you did IVF, then you would input your ER date in the IVF calculator (that is pretty standard for how doctors determine due dates in IVF pregnancies) and the date may change by a few days.

my due date is oct 21, but my doctor will induce me no later than oct 7. but on oct 7, i'm still only 38 weeks pregnant.

I did medicated FET. I used the FET calculator (ivf.ca) which calculates from the Embryo transfer day.  My due date is April 28 according to that (and it also gives you Average gestational EDDs for twins, triplets etc) I am all for keeping however many babies are in there for 40 weeks. Stick and bake!

According to my EDD, I am 4 weeks today. I guess once my betas are in on Friday, the clinic will give me more information.
