If you bought a changing table off of craigslist..

Would you be upset if there were a few chips in the paint?  I am selling mine today for $45 and noticed as I was cleaning it that there were a few chips in the paint.  Not huge, but chips nonetheless.

Would you address it with the buyer, or let them say something... or would you think they would assume there would be a little wear and tear on a used table?

I want to do what is right.

Thanks for your input!

  • No.  I would expect it unless it was advertised in 'like new condition' or similar.

Used means some wear and tear.

  • I bought one off of CL and it had some chips in it.  I just touched it up with a stain pen.  As long as you aren't advertising it as "perfect condition", etc. I think you should be alright.  Plus, if they come to pick it up and don't like it, they don't have to buy it.
