good news! f/u to interview
2 interviews, 2 follow up telephone interviews, a teaching demo, 2 writing samples, and a draft course plan later I got the job!
I will be teaching on a very limited basis (part of a for credit non-traditional evening education program) at a local college. I don't even know when I might potentially start, the program is still being planned and needs approval from some non-gov't match funding sources but I'm added to the faculty bios for all the materials being sent out now.

I was thinking of trying to adjunct at the community college here part time, but that was before LO was born. It'll be a few more years until I have that kind of time again at night.
