funny DD story

Since it's slow... i always go over all the events of the day as I am giving DD her nighttime milk (yes we still do that, but whatever) in the crib. So last night I guess I forgot and I was leaving and she stood up in the crib and said "What did I do mommy? What did I do?" took me a sec, but then I realized she wanted her daily recap! So now I know she loves it. She even adds to it now, some little thing I forgot about. Just thought it may be a good tip for people to do that with their LO's, since she seems to like it.

Aw that is sweet. We do ours at dinner, as a "lets tell daddy what we did today".

That's super cute!  We usually do something similar when DH walks in the door  I've found it's a good way to get him really involved with the kids without him feeling a lot of pressure, you know that OMG I just walked in the door give me a second feeling.  Since he gets to just sit and listen to the kids and then they get all excited about sharing.  My total secret motive is after a few prompts from me I either get to sneak away and finish dinner or sneak off to the bedroom with the computer or book and hide

That's a good idea too. We tell Daddy what we did too, but sometimes one of us is going to the gym!
