So DS (7 y/o) just learned that not all boys are circumcised (he is) and he asked me how many other boys are and aren't. I honestly did't know the answer. I asked DH and he said that white boys are and hispanic and aisan boys aren't and black boy are sometimes. Anyone know anything about this?

Your husband is a moron and you aren't much better.

What?
I really don't see the need to resort to personal insults.
Word. The racial stereotyping in this post...
She totally forgot to insult the jews, though. The religious insults could be saved for another post, I guess.
At least if she'd said that Jews typically ARE circumcised, she'd least she'd have gotten something correct. LOL
Sorry. Uneducated. Ignorant. Racist........is that better?

Ok, I didn't mean for this to sound racist. But does it differ across cultures and races? That should be the question.
I have seen this polled twice:
85% on parenting ARE
75% on 12-24 moths ARE
Mine is a yes
It does. So, your DH's answer was kind of inaccurate, but he's right that different groups of people have different traditions of circumcising or not circumcising so I'm not sure why people are jumping all over you so much. I would just say some people have cultural or religious reasons for circumcising and other people don't. You could say it's a tradition in your family and leave it at that.
But generally Muslims and Jews circumcise. I think most of Western Europe does not, outside of Great Britain. I actually thought most African American men were not circumcised. Don't really know about rates in Africa, Asia, or South America.
But how would a yes/no poll answer that? You're assuming everyone here is Caucasian?
How about just telling him the difference, and that families decide the right decision for their son?
Or telling him it's not polite to be checking out out boys' penises in the restroom?
This got a great chuckle.
