Spent some time in L&D today...

No baby though!

I hadn't felt him all morning, and realized that right before lunch.  I drank a huge glass of juice and laid down on my left side and he only kicked 2 times in an hour.  Thankfully I have a home doppler so I did that and reassured myself that there was a HB, but I had to go in for an NST.  He didn't move at all during the NST, even with cold water and the buzzer.

So they sent me to L&D for another NST and possibly an ultrasound.  The walk to L&D must have done the trick, because he got really angry and kicked the monitors like crazy. I even had a few mild contractions.

Hopefully he comes this weekend, my OB is on call Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Maybe this means he will be a deep sleeper outside the womb too?  I would have been so scared too, especially with nothing during that NST!  I had a good previous experience with being induced with dd (past my due date, so not early), so if this happened to me with #2, I think I would be begging to get this baby out and safe.  I hope he comes soon for you!
