DS had trouble with this one time when he was maybe 3 or 4 months old. I used head and shoulder's (carefully) one time and it was totally cleared up.
Now the past few weeks, its back....so random....I have been trying head and shoulder's....no luck....
Suggetions???? I am 7 weeks preggo....and this is totally grossing me out. We need a solution ASAP! Lol!
Re: Cradle Cap...seriously?
My 6 year old deals with this off and on still. The hairdresser asked if there was a chance he wasn't rinsing his hair well.
I use the head and shoulders off and on and also comb it while wet with a fine tooth comb to get it out.
I've heard olive oil helps, but I've never tried it. Here are some other options.

I would use regular baby shampoo and use a baby brush to scrub his/her scalp during bath. That worked for my DS.
I put baby oil on and let it sit for 15 min. Then I use a comb to comb it out and wash as normal. It worked wonderfully!
A lot of people also talk about this: https://www.gentlenaturals.com/?gclid=CKXD3qe42aoCFQjc4AodnXb17A but I have never actually used it myself since the baby oil did the trick on the first try.
My boy had it really bad from about 3 - 6 months. We spoke with the doctor about it and ended up using two things to clear it up:
Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Care to remove the scales in the morning
Selsun Blue for shampooing every night
Cam 6.6.10 - Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Mixed Receptive/Expressive Communication Disorder
DS has it. It's not really noriceable, but it bothers him and he is often scratchiung his head. I use the stuff linked above.
