Baby Shower Location Ideas????

I am looking for a place that has a feel of being in someones home without being in someones home to throw a baby shower. Any suggestions? His family is from Hershey and Her family is from above Reading. So a neutral place?? So Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, or Berks County will work????

  • Events Etc in Hershey is really nice.  It's a good size, but, not overly huge and makes for a nice party.  We had my SIL's bridal shower there.  My baby shower was at the Hershey Pantry (they do all the food for Events Etc- and it's delicious!!!).  It was on a Sunday after the restaurant closed for the day so we had the whole place to ourselves.

  • Yep, ditto PP - Events, Etc. is a fantastic choice for what you're looking for.  It's right across the street from the Hershey Pantry b/c it's all owned by the same people, and of course the food is fantastic since it's one and the same.  My bridal shower was there years ago and it was done as a brunch - everyone was amazed by the food and couldn't stop talking about it.  It has a very cozy (but still sophisticated!) atmosphere, and their prices weren't bad, either.

  • I just went to a shower at City House B&B on Front Street in Harrisburg.  It is SO nice.  Events, Etc. is nice, too (it's where my shower would have been if I weren't hospitalized), but City House is much more homey.  Big, beautiful old home right on the river.  Gorgeous.

  • My shower was at Hurst House B&B near Ephrata.  You bring in your own food.  beautiful!!  Check their website.
