WDYT boy names?

My husband and I have picked out two boy names.  The first is Rowan Lawrence.  Rowan is a nod to our Irish heritage, Lawrence is for my father, brother and uncle who are all named Larry.  The other, we cant decide on a middle name.  The first name will be Jackson.  as for a mn, I like Jackson Noah, he likes Jackson Alexander (I just think Jackson Alexander is soo much name for such a little baby, and yes I know he will be a grown up some day!), Jackson Connor, or Jackson Thomas.  He likes Jackson because its a strong manly name.  Unfortunatly, there are not any family names that we can/want to use if we go with Jackson.  What do you girls think?

I think of Rowan as a female's name.  I like both Jackson Noah & Alexander.

I have to tell you, I LOVE Rowan. If it wasn't that friends of ours have a son Rowan I would want to use it for this baby. Jackson is so overused...Rowan is different and fun to say and our Rowan's little sisters call him "RoRo" and it is sooooooooo cute. I love it.

Rowan is NMS.  I love Jackson though!  I also like all of the MN options you've picked.  What about Jackson Lawrence?

I like Rowan a LOT and never knew it could be a girl's name until recently. That being said, I woudn't use the mn Lawrence. Too many "w" "r" and "n" sounds.

I prefer Rowan as a girls' name, but I'll take it any day over Jackson. It's waaaayyy too popular.

FWIW, though, Jackson Lawrence sounds fine. Why not use the same MN regardless?

Rowan seems like a girls name to me when I first hear it. I like both of your other options though.
