Well, I haven't checked in for several weeks now, but it looks like I'm losing my mucus plug (sorry for the TMI), so I probably should post updates while I can, right?   Huahine:  I'm not sure I ever had you update my info.  I'm having twins, boy and girl.

 Please let me know if you have any updates and/or edits that need to be made. Also, if I missed any births please let me know so we can celebrate with you!

 Feeling pretty well, just tired and achy.  My belly tightens, but there is no pattern, so no real contractions to speak of.  As I mentioned above, I've started losing my mucus plug, so we'll see if that's a sign of anything, or if I make it to the date of my c/s.  Other than that, I've been able to keep working (I work PT) and my first 2 NSTs have been normal.  I have my last growth u/s this coming Friday.

Question of the Week (QOTW):  The QOTW comes from Yankeebear (Thank you!): Who likes this hot summer weather and who is waiting for fall?  I LOVE the heat, but it's been more challenging being pregnant.  This year we got a short spring and pretty short summer, so it's been bearable.  Not sure I'm ready for the fall, though.

I am feeling good. I'm finally through with all the 1st trimester crap except for a passing wave of nausea here and there. I had a OB appt this week, all is well with the little one and my stomach is expanding very rapidly. Now just the long wait to find out the sex of the baby.

QOTW: When I was young I loved summer, but now and especially when I'm pregnant, I just hate the heat. I love, love,love fall. It is so beautiful and everything is pumpkin flavored!!!

I was feeling fantastic during 2nd tri, but I am now feeling heavy and slow, and the "waddle" has finally come.  Lots of aches and pains, but I told Baby Haribo to stay in there as long as she can, and I'll deal with the physical discomforts happily!

QOTW: I usually love summer, but this one has been unbearable with the unseasonably warm temps and the pregnancy. I am happily waiting for fall and the arrival of our little girl

I hit the 20 week mark this weekend which was pretty exciting.  Less exciting was a little bout of incontinence I had the other night.  For weeks now I've been waking up with a start several times a night panicked that was about to pee the bed.  Well, earlier this week it happened.  It wasn't a lot, not even enough to wet the sheets, but just enough to take the pressure off and make me consider wearing adult diapers to bed.  I'm hoping Little Wasabi gets off my bladder soon.

I love summer.  We spend our weekends on our boat (which was our home for almost 4 years).  I love the break from TV and internet.  Taking the time to be together, to enjoy the quiet of isolated anchorages - well this year it is especially special to us because we know that next year everything is going to be different.  But I am looking forward to fall.  Work is already ramping up and getting more interesting (I've been coasting along doing monkey work the past few months) as I head into my busiest season.  I'm excited to be using my brain again.   In addition, I only get paid for what I bill.  So while I'm a little freaked out about the fact that I'm going to be flat out with work until about two weeks before the baby is due, I'm really looking forward to banking some cash before I go on leave.   Yara - our local stores are already carrying pumpkin ale!

Baby and I are both healthy so I hate to complain, but my biggest issue has been a return of morning sickness.  This didn't happen with my previous pregnancy so I never expected it.  So along with heartburn that never ended, I've been feeling nauseous every afternoon into the evening.

QOTW:  I don't like summer and I never have.  The heat makes me feel like I can't breathe.  Don't ask my why I ever moved to Atlanta?  I've been staying indoors since June.  I love the fall and can't wait for the leaves to change and to go pick apples and bake!!

Updates:

I'm officially in 2nd tri...hooray!  Been feeling better each day since 12 weeks and having less nausea, although had a surprise episode of m/s on my way to work this morning.  I'm starting to show a bit now and the bump is definitely more noticable by the end of the day. Need to start taking belly pics.

QOTW:

I hate to wish away summer since DS is having SO much fun but, I'm an autumn girl.  Bring on the pumpkins, falling leaves and crisp air.

 I am feeling good. I am at the point of waking up every 2-3 hours at night to use the bathroom. I am just looking forward to meeting my LO next week.

My summer here in Wisconsin has not been too brutal. We had a 2 week spell of a crazy heat wave. However, that has passed and we are having a typical midwest summer. The Fall is my FAVORITE TIME of YEAR!!! I am so looking forward to it.

Hello all!  Feeling pretty good!  Experiencing some swelling in my feet and pins and needles in my hands.  Other than that, all is well.

I am officially tired of summer and ready for the cool fall days.  Just bought some super cute fall maternity clothes and can't wait to wear them.  Plus, who doesn't love pumpkins, apple picking and football!!  Bring it!!

This week I am feeling a lot of pressure but no pain.  I can actually feel both babies moving around it feels strange. I went to the doctor and she told me that I was measuring the same as a woman that is pregnant 28 weeks with one baby and I am only 18 weeks. GREAT!!!  But I've only gained two pounds in 2 months!!

 QOTW - I'm SO over this heat! 50+ days of 100 degree weather. YUCK. This is absolutely insane.

How am I feeling? I can truthfully say...this,#3, is my last. I never felt like I was "done" when I was pg with #1 or #2, but this time around, I'm tired of being pg, fat, the heartburn, tired, etc. My other two both arrived earlier on their own, so in my head I'm planning on end of October.

Still feeling great, excited to be full term. This time around pregnancy passed so much faster. Can't wait to meet our little daughter! I am also really happy that this is the last few days I'll ever be pregnant (this is our last child).

QOTW - we don't have heat here in San Francisco. It's sunny at 65 high every day. One of the many reasons why I chose to live here - I can't stand the heat.

I'm feeling blue and irritable, actually.  Thought that was supposed to be over with and hoped I had missed it completely.  Estranged family hurts & other family problems.  Not sleeping well.

I can not stand the hot summer weather.  We have the extra bonus of humidity here in FL.  I can take a walk at one in the morning along the ocean with all the wind, and pitch black sky and still am sweating.  I hate it, hate it, hate it.

And the heat makes everything smell more powerful...with a pregnancy-nose super smell that's just not pleasant.  I want the fall to come so I can open up our windows and air out the house, and so I can enjoy the outdoors again.

Nervous about upcoming genetics bloodwork & NT scan in Sept..  Still have the nausea, cramping (no bleeding), metallic taste, and down-right-tiredness ALL THE TIME!!!

Hope I'm not too late for this...  Just catching up a little on my bumping tonight.   Feeling OK - I would really like for this 1st tri to be over (I'm getting there - 10 weeks 4 days).  I have an appointment tomorrow - hoping to be able to hear the heartbeat.

QOTW:  As much as hate to say it, I would really like for fall to arrive.  This summer has been nothing but heat followed by pouring rain.  I am ready for some crisp days and great fall treats!!  Last winter felt like it was never going to end, so I know I am going to regret wishing it here even sooner!

Last week I had the babys head pushing on my stomach which was not fun. This week I have a cold and sore throat. Pregnancy wise im fantastic apart from getting fat all over.

Feeling ok and almost at the end of 1st trimester (thank goodness)... going for my NT test this wednesday and very scared as I'm 44, and this is my first.

I am tired. I am getting ready for this to come to the end stage and then...baby will be here.  Stretching, moving, hiccups and somewhere along the way I have an increased desire to just shake the holy hell out of people.  Normally I can keep that under wraps but lately...skull dragging is a sport that I am interested in.

On a bright note...Amy will be here on 14 Oct!  They have adjusted my due date back and forth so many times based on her growth and finally settled on 24 Oct for an EDD with a section date of the 14th.  /sigh.  Whatever.  I just want a healthy baby in my arms at some point.

Ooh...the weather!!  Being that I currently reside in the Pacific Northwest, our weather has not been so bad.  I think today we got to 80 degrees, but then again...it still remained cool enough ((no a/c)) that I was in long pants pj's.  Some rain would be nice, but honestly, compared to the rest of the US, I cannot complain.
