There are worse names out there

I've really come to hate this argument/comment. Yes, when someone posts some baby-naming catastrophe--typically relating to acquaintances or celebrities--it's not the worst of the worst of the possible monikers to subject a baby too. But, can't we be real and say it still sucks?

  • It's no worse to me than "NMS" or "meh" (both of which I've been guilty of using). It's an anti-opinion of sorts. Sometimes it's just the best you can come up with.

  • But what I wanted for my baby was a terrible name, but not the worst name, so it is a useful comment, see?!
