Phil and Ted's Stroller

So there is a double stroller on cl for $150. Looks like it is in great condition and it has pics. It just seems like the baby in the back is getting the short end of the stick because of how it's practically under the other one. But for $150 I'm really considering it for mall trips when I dont want a sbs. Anyone have this stroller? Would you recommend it? Thanks!!!

Re: Phil and Ted's Stroller

  • Yup!

I have both the phil and teds and a sbs. I use them both for their own uses and the P&T has been very useful to me. I would buy it for $150 in a heartbeat. I find my baby that ends up in the back (I alternate them) does not seem to mind at all.

     HTH!

  • I have one for my older son and we have used it as a double for trips to the zoo with his cousins (same age).  No one seems to mind the back seat either.  That's a great price!

For that price, I'd give it a shot.  I used it a lot between 6 months and 2 years.  Only recently have DDs begun to argue about the front/back thing and the one in the back realizing that she can kick the front seat and annoy her sister. :-)

  • it's not the best stroller for twins- but is a great stroller. I used to have one and loved it- but sold it when I had the twins so i could buy other strollers that were better.... P&T is great for 2 older kids, or 1 baby and 1 toddler, not great for 2 infants... but that is a great price- so might be nice to have around!  Some days, now that my boys are 2, I do wish I had my P&T for certain trips b/c they could both climb in and out- but it wouldn't be a SBS.

I know a LOT of people who have them- and none of their kids have issues with the back seat. Some of them prefer it actually!

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.
