Head and Shoulders. Seriously. I've been dealing with Cradle Cap with Nate on and off for 3 years and that's what I have found that works best.

Head and shoulders sensitive is what our pedi recommended. She also said to use aquaphor in their hair and massage it through to break up the scales or flakes, comb it through, let it sit and then wash hair. We also used the gentle naturals shampoo (babies r us or target--small blue bottle w Winnie the pooh/eyeore on it). It doesnt smell great, but worked well.
I use Target's version if Neutragina's T gel. It is the only thing that cleared up DD's scalp. I used it every other shampoo, and now that it's gone I use it once a week or every 2 weeks.
My youngest had a horrible flaky, dry scalp and we tried everything! We ended up seeing a dermatologist and it turned out he has psoriasis and we had to get four different Rx and those finally cleared it up . You could just be dealing with dandruff, but just something to consider if nothing else works.
I asked the pedi about this yesterday, and she recommended olive oil. She said to rub it in, let it set for 15 minutes, then use a soft bristle brush to get off all the dead cells. Wash normally after.

Yes - exactly this though we used a fine toothed comb instead of brush. Works well.

Same here. I've also been using Aveda's Scalp Remedy on my little guy since we had it already.
I need to do something too, all three of my kids have cradle cap!! I didn't really know about the boys since they have so much hair and DH is the one who bathes them (and doesn't notice/care about that), but the lady cutting DS #1's hair last week pointed it out to me, and then I have noticed DS #2's when he is swimming. And DD just doesn't have much hair, so hers bothers me the most (but seems the most normal anyway, given her age).
