We got a call today that based on measurements and the dr's photos, Brandon's "cranial othotic device" has been deemed medically necessary. That means they will cover 100% of the claim. YES!
I'm shocked at how fast things are moving. Tomorrow I take him to Children's to get a casting of his little head so they can make his helmet. I'm mostly happy (that things are going along smoothly) but also a little nervous and depressed. My poor baby
Re: Yay Univera!
Huh.. I don't think I'll ever say "yay univera".. But I am glad they are covering it for little B. I know its nerve-wracking and the time with the helmet won't be tons of fun but it will be good for his little head and he won't know the difference, really.. And soon it will be a distant memory.. seriously.. you know how fast the time goes!

woo hoo!
is he still going to get PT with it? i'll bet he's not going to have it for as long as they say he will.
Yep. The PT is for torticollis (his neck) the helmet is for plagiocephaly (his head shape)
