Thoughts on Daphne?

This name is really growing on me and since I can't commit to any name on our current list, I'm wondering what you all think of this one... any nicknames for this besides Daph?

Big sis is Clara... our top two names have been Charlotte & Eleanor, but fear the popularity factor of both (well, Ellie for Eleanor).

I think it's a great name choice. It's not very common, but still "normal".

I can't think of any other nn's though!

Daphne is NMS; however, it is a good classic name. 

I love Charlotte, but if you fear the popularity you may want to go with Daphne.

You could use Charlotte or Eleanor as a MN.

Daphne Charlotte & Daphne Eleanor  sound lovely. That way you can use the names that you do like.

I see Daphne, I say Daffy.  I know how to say the name properly, but Daffy always comes to mind first.

I'm not a fan.

I think it is a great choice! it goes really nicely with Clara.  I know two women who are pregnant and naming their babies Eleanor..I think it is getting really popular!  Same with charlotte.  I predict Charlotte will be top ten in the next couple years!  If you don't want popular I would avoid those two.  Daphne is a great name!  GL

It's alright; better than Zoe and Chloe, not as cute as Penelope.

I'm not sure why you're searching for a nickname for something that's only two syllables and already ends in the "ee" sound.

I think Clara and Daphne make a really cute sibset.
