Mr. O turns one at the end of the month. I'm going through his infant stuff and trying to decide what to keep, what to donate and what to throw out. We're not TTC #2 and won't for another year or so. Would you throw out pacifers, bottles, etc. if you weren't going to use them for another two years?
As a random side note, I can't believe I have to try to salvage his high chair. That thing is nasty, but I can't justify spending another $60 if/when we have a second.
Re: What should I throw out?
I would throw away pacifiers and keep the bottles that seem to be in good condition. You can always sterilize them and buy new nipples if you have another baby.
As for the high chair, I have a space saver that sits on a regular kitchen chair. I have never owned a stand alone chair. You can find them on sale for anywhere from 30-40 bucks. If you don't want to keep your old one, you could always switch next time around.
I kept all big items (high chair, PNP, bouncer, etc), most bottles, etc. and then any clothing items or toys that I loved.
