Zumba DVD recs?

I'm looking for a zumba DVD that is as close to a class as possible, not too cheesy to do and with good music. I coach swimming and for cross-training we're going to do Zumba once a week; if it's on the cheesy/lame side I know the girls will be silly about doing it! Thanks!

A bit pricey (still cheaper than a gym membership or paying per class) for the set but it comes with a lot.  The new Exhilarate DVDs are fun.  I previewed my friend's set last week.  I like it A LOT better than the first set that came out.  They don't really sell the DVDs separately.

  • Thanks! I may check out the library to see if they have them and save some money.

  • Although it may cost a little more in the long run, you may be better off finding a Zumba instructor in the area who would be willing to teach a weekly class.  The set itself is pretty pricey and the monotony of doing the same routine over and over may bore your age group.  Plus if you have an instructor you would probably be able to have a few more mainstream songs to keep them interested.

  • That's what I'd prefer to do but we don't have a budget for it. If I buy the DVDs I would keep them for myself and then also use them. But I still need to check out the library. It's the first week of school and things have been crazy!

  • I don't have any suggestions, but just wanted to say, dayum, I wish my track coach had been as cool/creative as you!  That's such a cool idea! :)
